Hunter’s House of Hope

Before you give up hope, come home.

Hunter’s House of Hope knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives.

Making a Difference

Have you ever lost someone to suicide? Or had suicidal thoughts yourself? Hunter’s House of Hope has been created as a memory for the one we lost too soon.  Suicide claims the life of someone every 40 seconds. We are here to be a safe place, void of rejection and fear, where individuals can come for help in a warm, loving environment. Between our community support and our “whole person” approach, we aim to be a beacon of hope to those experiencing some of their darkest moments.

Why us?

Long-term support
and advocacy

Hunter’s House of Hope provides a unique approach to prevention and recovery. What makes us unique is our “whole person” approach. Participants in our program will receive individualized care tailored to their personal needs. Our goal is to provide the highest level of care. The best part of our services is they all come from within the community, building a more robust support system for our loved ones and neighbors.

Hunter’s House of Hope at a Glance

Theresa Capobianco founded Hunter’s House of Hope in 2020 after losing her nephew, Hunter Capobianco, in 2017 to suicide. Afterwards, Theresa spent years researching the causes of suicide and suicide prevention. Through her research, she learned about the rates of suicide and how so many individuals are not receiving crucial long-term support. She decided to do something by bringing the community together and help save lives.
